Need less warmth? → Nai'a full wetsuit (2mm, 18–22°C / 64–72°F) · Humu springsuit (2mm, 20°C / 68°F and above) · Honu springsuit (2mm, 20°C / 68°F and above)
Choosing your size
Use your child's height and weight for the most accurate fit.
Size 1 — 10 to 18 months · 76–84cm (30–33 in) · 9.1–11.8kg (20–26 lbs)
Size 2 — 2 to 3 years · 84–97cm (33–38 in) · 10.9–14.1kg (24–31 lbs)
Size 4 — 3 to 5 years · 97–109cm (38–43 in) · 14.1–17.2kg (31–38 lbs)

Size 8 — 7 to 9 years · 117–132cm (46–52 in) · 22.7–27.2kg (50–60 lbs)

Fit note
Mini wetsuits should fit snugly with no gaps at the lower back or neck. If your child is between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort and ease of movement.
Not sure about sizing?
Our team is happy to help, message us before ordering.
What age is each size? Size 1 fits most children aged 12–18 months. Size 2 fits 2–3 years. Size 4 fits 4–5 years. Size 6 fits 6–7 years. Size 8 fits 8–10 years. Children grow at different rates, so we recommend checking height against the size guide above for the most accurate fit.
What is the difference between the Honu and Humu springsuits? The Honu has short arms and a short leg cut, ideal for the warmest conditions where maximum freedom of movement is the priority. The Humu has long arms and a short leg cut, offering more upper body warmth and sun protection while keeping leg freedom.
What is the difference between the Humu springsuit and the Nai'a fullsuit? The Humu is a springsuit with long sleeves and a short leg cut, designed for warm water. The Nai'a is a full wetsuit with full sleeves and full leg coverage, providing more warmth for slightly cooler water conditions.
How should a kids wetsuit fit? It should feel snug all over with no baggy areas, especially at the lower back and neck. A wetsuit that is too loose will let water in and reduce warmth. A small amount of restriction when dry is normal, it softens once in the water.
Is this neoprene safe for children? Yes. Our mini wetsuits are made with limestone-based neoprene, sourced from calcium carbonate rather than petroleum. It is softer and more flexible than conventional neoprene, making it comfortable for children during extended wear.
Does this wetsuit offer sun protection? The neoprene fabric provides natural coverage for the areas it covers. For exposed skin, we recommend applying sunscreen before sessions. In Australian conditions, where UV levels are particularly high, sun protection on any exposed skin is especially important.
How do I care for a kids wetsuit? Rinse with fresh water after every session. Dry away from direct sunlight. Close any Velcro tabs before storing to protect the lining and seams.
Can I machine wash this wetsuit? No. Machine washing damages neoprene. Always hand rinse with fresh cold water only.
The Mano is built with the same commitment to materials as our adult range.
- Limestone-based neoprene, sourced from calcium carbonate, not petroleum. Softer, lighter, and more flexible than conventional neoprene.

- GBS seams for a more watertight seal in cooler water conditions.
- Thermal internal lining through key body panels for added warmth retention.
- Built for durability, designed to last through multiple seasons of ocean play.
