I ordered a Small originally , that’s my usual Abysse size and it was too small.
Pros: great color, comfortable lightweight fabric that dries quickly, cute style
You do NOT have to wear a bathing suit bottom underneath them.
Cons: I am new to Board shorts and this may be typical, but the legs are wide so you get a bit of a balloon effect when you swim.
The rope tie is cute, but it dangles and can be annoying.
Fabric is so soft. Love the logo detail on the back too. I purchased S, normally wear Aus 6-8 depending on brand. These aren’t just great in the water, but look super cute for general wear too!
Crush boardshorts are comfy stretchy and stylish. I know you're supposed to wear them with swim bottoms but they're tight enough to wear alone (on me) and i find it more comfortable. The Velcro stays put in the water and, as a new surfer, they dont come off easily when i get tumbled around in the white wash. I will probably buy the coco color next.
I have this shorts in Coco and Lava in XS and they fit well, but as my legs are not very thin I wished they were slightly looser on the legs, so that is why this time I decided to go with size S and unfortunately, that was a mistake. I like that the S is looser on the legs, but now they are too big on the waist line so I have to wear them lower on the hips and if I loose any more weight then they will probably just hang unflattering on me even lower and you can tell that this style is not meant to be worn too low and I prefer to wear it higher. So I decided to order them again in XS. However, I still kept the ones in size S, because privately shipping back from Europe is ridiculously expensive, which is almost half the price of the shorts. Other than that I can say that these shorts are very comfortable and super stretchy. You are not limited in your movements while doing any kind of sport. The material feels very soft too. In the picture you can see the difference between the two sizes . I hope this is helpful if anyone is struggling to decide which size to buy. The measurements are in cm.
These are the best fitting, most comfortable boardshorts I’ve ever worn. I can’t get over the fabric and overall fit. I want them in every color! They are my new favorites.
